Instructions for Honda CBR1000RR Front Turn Signals

1. Remove the middle fairing’s mounting bolts with a four-millimeter Allen key or socket, paying attention to the placement the bolts were eliminated from. Place the bolts in a protected place.
2. Remove the snap rivets that secure the center fairing to the internal truthful by turning the Phillips-head counterclockwise until the head pops up, then gently pull all the rivet from the fairing.
3. Pull the center fairing off of the body and disconnect the original turn signal meeting from the wiring harness.
4. Take away the original turn sign meeting from the fairing by unscrewing the Phillips screws on the within of the fairing.
5. Slide the new flip sign assembly in from the exterior of the fairing and tighten the mounting bolt(s) included with the assembly.
6. Connect the new flip sign to the wiring harness and re-set up the center fairing, putting the mounting bolts within the appropriate position. Connect the pop rivets to the internal fairing by turning the Phillips head clockwise.
7. Repeat on the other aspect of the motorcycle.

8. Take away the rider seat mounting bolts with a 6-millimeter Allen key or socket.
9. Take away the passenger seat pad to achieve entry to the tail cowl’s storage compartment, after which remove the two mounting bolts.
10. Take away the bolts that connect the tail cowl to the sub-frame.
11. Take away the tail cowl by gently pulling it up and sliding it to the rear of the motorcycle.
12. Locate the wiring harness and disconnect one of the flip signals.
13. Observe the disconnected wiring to the turn signal and unscrew the mounting screw with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Remove the original flip sign assembly.
14. Insert the new turn signal meeting and join the wiring to the harness.
15. Regulate the angle of the flip sign up or down to maximize visibility, and then tighten the mounting nut.
16. Repeat process for the opposite turn signal.
17. Slide the tail cowl onto the sub-frame and re-attach all four mounting bolts.
18. Change the passenger seat and secure the rider’s seat.
